The University of Georgia's women's gymnastics team won an amazing fourth consecutive NCAA title on their home mat in Athens, Ga., over the weekend. It was the ninth overall title for the Bulldogs (unofficially known as the GymDawgs), and it ties a record held by The University of Utah, which finished a close second at the championship meet.
Other teams in the "Super Six' meet included Stanford, Florida, LSU and Alabama.
The meet will be televised on CBS on May 10.

Perhaps, the emotion of the victory was best summed by Georgia gymnast Audrey Bowers: "To win four in a row is amazing, but this year we couldn't have asked for anything more."
Other GymDawg gymnasts include Marcia Newby, Courtney McCool, Grace Taylor, Paige Burns, Hilary Mauro, Cassidy McComb and Nikki Childs.
They are coached by Suzanne Yoculan, who was named coach of the year.
UCLA gymnast Tasha Schwikert won the all-around competition.
The meet in Athens was also the final one for Utah standout Ashley Postell, who was a standout gymnast for the Utes for four consecutive years.
