Top Ten Favorite Films Series....Jason Garnett

Jason Garnett, the manager of the historic Grandin Theatre in Roanoke, Va. (pictured here), is the second person who gave me their top ten favorite films list. There were some interesting choices here.

1. The Big Lebowski (dir. Coen Bros., 1998)

2. Buffalo 66 (dir. Vincent Gallo, 1998)

3. No Country for Old Men (dir. Coen Bros., 2007)

4. City Lights (dir. Charlie Chaplin, 1931)

5. Band of Outsiders (France, dir. Jean-Luc Godard, 1964)

6. Cinema Paradisio (Italy, dir. Giueseppe Tornatore, 1998)

7. Ikiru (Japan, dir. Akira Kurosawa, 1952)

8. Red Dawn (dir. John Milius, 1984) .............I'm still wondering if he really meant "Red Desert," the classic Michelangelo Antonioni film!

9. "It Happened One Night" (dir. Frank Capra, 1931)

10. "The Royal Tennebaums" (dir. Wes Anderson, 2001)
