Cong. Brad Miller (D-NC) is an exceptional human being. The same can not be said for Vernon Robinson who ran what might be the most negative campaign in North Carolina politics history......well, perhaps Sen. Jesse Helms stooped even lower....but, having said that this was pretty low. Thankfully, Miller got nearly two-thirds of the vote. Miller is up for reelection this year, but it appears that Robinson who has been called "The Black Jesse Helms" will not be the Republican's choice this time around.
