In honor of Republic's Day, which is Oct. 29th, I am setting a poll between Turkey's best-known pop music icon Tarkan and singer/actress Sezen Aksu, whom some have refered to as "The Turkish Madonna." But, to my knowledge Aksu has never used four-letter words on national television.
If you are not of Turkish heritage, feel free to vote anyway. Of course, this is coming from someone who loves polls. I just can't get enough of them. Republic's Day is the closest thing to a Turkish Fourth of July.
