New Idea- a Poll

I am assuming no one likes to watch films in multiplexes or drive-ins. Watching at home on dvd is cheaper, but it is just not the same. There are also newly designed art houses, such as the Galaxy Cinema in Cary, NC, and the Vinegar Hill Theater in Charlottesville, Va. But, I think two choices make this an easier decision!

Other Theatres and Driveins in the Carolinas Worth Mentioning (sorry, no links...it's getting late, and I have to get very early!)... BTW, all of these are active.

The Lyric Theatre in Blacksburg, Va.

The Byrd Theatre in Richmond, Va.

Dixie Cinema 4 in Staunton, Va.

Rockingham Theatre in Reidsville, NC

Graham Cinema in Graham, NC

Varsity Cinema in Chapel Hill, NC

Albermale Drivein in Albermale, NC

Dalke's Family Drivein in Stephen City, Va

Highway 21 Drivein in Beaufort, SC

If you know of any others in Virginia, NC, SC or elsewhere, please mention them in the comments section here. There are also driveins in Christiansburg, Va., and Mount Airy, NC, but their names escape me_ blame it on the Diet Cokes (someone told me tonight that diet sodas cause memory loss!).

For a great movie review by my friend Moviezzz for the new George Clooney film "Michael Clayton," which is showing at the Grandin Theatre, go to:
