Alas, my hopes to post e-letters from 16 presidential candidates has run into a snag. It appears that Mitt Romney's campaign actually wants people's cellphone numbers in order to get email alerts about the former Mass. governor.
This is where I draw the line!
But, Romney was the 15th candidate's site I visited. Rudy was to be next, but with Pat Robertson's endorsement today, perhaps it's best for me not to give him any more attention than he's already getting. I think now the only way I would vote for him next year would be if Hillary Clinton held a campaign fundraiser in Yerevan, Armenia. And, I'm not even sure that would be enough..........!
My friend Chris Knight of Reidsville, NC, will happen to learn that I should be posting Ron Paul emails here soon. He is my favorite Republican candidate, and I was delighted to hear that he raised over $4 million earlier in the week.
Overall, my top choice for president is Gov. Bill Richardson of New Mexico. I think he is a sensible Democrat who could unite the country by the end of his first term. Alas, he has about four percent of the vote right now, which proves my fellow Democrats are almost as inept as Republicans when it comes to choosing a presidential candidate!
