Vintage Bad Horror Film on IFC Tonight

The 1981 slasher flick "Madman" is so bad that one has to watch it to believe it!

It airs tonight on IFC at 10:35 p.m. EST, which a repeat at 2 a.m.

The film stars Paul Ehlers as Madman Marz.

The plot line is as follows:

Camp-goers retell the story of the madman who is a mean, drunken farmer who wents nuts one night and killed his whole entire family...........

Anyway, I don't want to give too much away! The famous quote from this one-star gem is: "If you say this name above a whisper, he will kill you."

The movie circulated around those of us who were working at The Grandin Theatre in Roanoke, Va., circa 2002.

There is an encore tonight at 2:00 a.m. And, "Madman" reairs at 1:35 a.m. on Jan. 25 on IFC. I'm assuming this movie is available on Netflix. It might make a good double-bill with "Plan 9 From Outer Space" or any film from Roanoke's 'legendary' B-movie filmmaker Charles Cullen.
