Since it is Veteran's Day week, and northern Virginia helped deliver my home state for a certain political candidate of my choosing, I am going with the Iwa Jima Memorial at Arlington National Cemetery in Arlington, Va., as the seventh entry in this series.
My late stepfather Donald Sullivan served in the European theatre during World War II.
