Quote of the Week- Lord Byron
I suppose one of my joys in life is the fact that I have now outlived the famed English poet Lord Byron (1788-1824) who actually worked against my father's country Turkey when he volunteered to fight for the Greeks during their war for independence. While in Greece, he got a fever and...........oh well!
Here is a great quip from Byron, in honor of National Poetry Month:
"A celebrity is one who is known to many people he's glad he doesn't know."
