One of my favorite bands these days is the Russian emigre punk group Gogol Bordello which is alas not playing at the Cat's Cradle in Carrboro, NC, this summer.
But, they will be at the Fox Theatre in Boulder, Col., on May 28 so perhaps my sister can check them out.....hmm, somehow I think she's more comfortable at a Sarah Palin 2012 Tupperware fundraiser (neither my sister or I are Republicans. In fact, she helped talk me out of my surreal political confusion two years ago.)
Gogol Bordello fans in Santa Cruz, Calif., can check them out on May 22. They will also be in Chicago on May 31 and in Baltimore on June 4.
