I first became aware of dolphins by watching reruns of "Flipper" during the two years when I lived as a child in Turkey (1977-79) on TRT (Turkey Radio Television), which also aired Jacques Cousteau documentaries.
One can see dolphins and other living sea animals at the Georgia Aquarium in Atlanta, Ga. (see link below):
