Having once worked as a teacher in a North Carolina prison (I was NOT an inmate there, oh btw!), I am not sure I would share this view from filmmaker Quentin Tarantino:

Here we quote new grandfather (his daughter the ever-hot Bryce Dallas Howard recently had a child) and AARP Magazine cover guy Ron Howard, who was (of course) Richie Cunnigham.

I must say I went through three pages of quotes from the child star turned movie director (loved "Frost/Nixon, btw), when we suddenly came across this startling one:

Before there was Howard Stern or Sarah Silverman, there was Lenny Bruce.

It was hard to find a quote from the late comedian which would not have offended. Frankly, this one may upset my friends in Princeton, WV, or Eden, NC, but it so true:

Quote of the Week-Meryl Streep

This picture of Meryl Streep may be a few years old, but she is still one of the best actressed in Hollywood today.

I think her Oscar-nomination for "Doubt" as a stern nun is well-deserved. But, Anne Hathaway or Kate Winslet might actually walk away with the prize this time around.
