Some Muslim friends of mine may object to the fact that I am posting a photo of the Oscar Mayer Weinermobile (particularly since I am the son of a Turkish immigrant) during the holy Ramadan season (for those who don't know Muslims are forbidden to eat pork). Nevertheless I love this photo, and I once caught a glimpse of the Weinermobile as it was passing through Hopewell, Va., (near Richmond) a few years back. And, perhaps the company does offer hot dogs with turkey meat, which still might not sell well in Patterson, NJ (where a large number of Turks and Arabs live).
